The set up engine will guide you through the process and will be tailored by your organization type. The process consists of capturing some facility information and a series of questions and options that you can configure for your Preferr pages. Preferr offers a unique opportunity for providers; the ability to manage marketing or informative content on your organization’s preferr page. Video clips, audio files and images can all be managed from Preferr and made viewable to all of the referring physicians that also subscribe to Preferr. This becomes a key differentiator for many organizations and allows them to ensure those providers who are referring to them are aware of all services or specials and those who are looking for new organizations to refer to, can get a feel for a new organization.
Sending referral requests using Preferr is easy and a user friendly experience. From patient look up to the status of a referral, Preferr covers it all. Referral requests are submitted with all critical data elements including patient demographics, service requested, clinical answers to questions established by providers, insurance information, an electronic order by fax and the ability to upload patient records for the receiving organization. efax or electronic Fax is included with the Preferr subscription.
